An NSU Fox and a MV Augusta were the first vehicles securing
wins relying on ideas of Siegfried Spiess. In the mid-1950s the just 20-year
old automotive-engineering journeyman redesigned the vehicles on his own
- and won right away. Since then, Spiess engines began their triumphant
success all over the world, demonstrated by countless race wins and championship
titles.
