RECARO Formula 3 Cup
Success across-the-board
The first six rounds of the 2006 RECARO Formula 3 Cup season are over
but there are seven more events and 14 more races respectively to be contested.
So far, the 2006 season of Germany's fastest single-seater series' turned
out to be outstandingly successful for Spiess. The 2-litre Opel engine
tuned by the Ditzingen based experts, demonstrated by the striking writing
'Spiess Tuning' on the airbox of the Spiess powered cars, has won everything
there was to be won: six race wins, six pole positions and six fastest
race laps.
In its 2006 season, variety is one of the main features of the RECARO
Formula 3 Cup. Five different engines are battling it out for points and
race wins, with the situation in the chassis area being similar: here,
the manufacturers Dallara, Lola and SLC are involved in a fierce battle
for the dominating position.
